Realizing early in life that it was easiest to get his thoughts out through music, Wes started writing and sharing his music at various open mic nights throughout Toronto.

His sound reminiscent of the sweetness of Damien Rice paired with the melodic sensibility of Ed Sheeran, he began making a name for himself in Toronto’s small club scene for his trademark vocal tone and well-crafted, rhythmically driven songs.

His honest songwriting has lead to millions of streams and “The Chocolate Cake Song” being featured on Spotify’s “Morning Coffee” playlist.

Most recently Wes has studied songwriting with Ed Sheeran, shared a stage with both No.1 UK songwriter Luke Concannon, and NBC’s The Voice winners Girl Named Tom.

He is continuing to write and share music with a world-wide audience, with a slew of new music coming through 2026.
